Mirassou Winery
The Mirassou Winery was a winery, founded in 1854 by Louis Pellier (1817-72) and his brother Pierre (1823-94) in what is now known as California's Silicon Valley, and for many years an icon of the agricultural heritage of the Santa Clara Valley. In 1881 Pierre Mirassou (1856-89) married Pierre Pellier's daughter Henriette (1860-1937). The brand name "Mirassou" was purchased by wine industry giant Gallo in 2003, and the Mirassou family no longer controls its wine making process or marketing.

Evergreen Valley High School
Evergreen Valley High School is a comprehensive, 4-year high school located in the Evergreen area of San Jose, California, and is part of the East Side Union High School District. It is the newest high school in the district and was founded in 2002. The school held its first graduation of seniors on June 7, 2005. The Class of 2006, the first class of students to have attended the school since its opening year in 2002, graduated on June 7, 2006. The school's newspaper is named The Prowler.

Gurdwara Sahib of San Jose
The Sikh Gurdwara or Sikh Gurdwara - San Jose (a gurdwara is the Sikh place of worship) was founded in San Jose, California, USA in 1985 by leaders of the then-rapidly growing Santa Clara Valley Sikh community. Initially they met in a rented community center, but soon bought a small building in east San Jose. After buying nearby land in the early 1990s, they decided it would be too expensive to build in the city limits, so they sold that land and bought a larger property further east.
