Trees of Mystery

Trees of Mystery is a roadside attraction and "tourist trap" in Klamath, California. This private enterprise is located adjacent to US Highway 101 on private land surrounded by Redwood National and State Parks. The property contains a number of unique tree formations, hence its name. Trees of Mystery is best known for the 49-foot-tall statue of Paul Bunyan and the 35-foot-tall Babe the Blue Ox, both of which are visible from Highway 101.

Requa, California

Requa (also called Karok) is an unincorporated community in Del Norte County, California. It is on the north bank of the Klamath River less than a mile (1.6 km) from its mouth, at an elevation of 125 feet (38 m). A post office operated at Requa from 1878 to 1970, with intermittent closures in 1883 and moves in 1895 and 1898. The name is a corruption of the old Native American settlement, Rekwoi.

Khwunrghunme (also, Kal-a-qu-ni-me-ne-tunne, Kal-hwun-un-me-e-nite-ne, and Qwun-rxun-me) is a former Yurok settlement in Del Norte County, California, south of the mouth of Klamath River. It lay at an elevation of 33 feet (10 m).
