Alvarado, California

Old Alvarado (formerly, New Haven) is a former settlement in and former county seat of Alameda County, California, now annexed to Union City. It was located 5 miles north-northwest of downtown Newark. In 1851, Henry C. Smith founded the town of New Haven, named after his father's home town of New Haven, Connecticut. In 1853, the town amalgamated with a nearby town called Alvarado, and became the county of seat of the newly formed Alameda County.

Coyote Hills Regional Park

Coyote Hills Regional Park is a regional park encompassing nearly 978 acres of land and administered by the East Bay Regional Park District. The park, which was dedicated to public use in 1967, is located in Fremont, California, on the southeast shore of the San Francisco Bay.

Union City (BART station)

Union City is a Bay Area Rapid Transit station located in downtown Union City near the Decoto district . Service at this station began on September 11, 1972. The station sits near Decoto Road east of Alvarado-Niles Road, directly behind James Logan High School's campus. The temporary parking spaces were constructed between 2006, and opened in the Summer of 2007. Local bus service is provided by Union City Transit and AC Transit.

Conley-Caraballo High School

Conley-Caraballo High School(CCHS) is a public 9-12 Continuation high school in Hayward, California, part of the New Haven Unified School District (NHUSD). Conley-Caraballo High School was named after Jean Conley and Hector Caraballo. It opened in 2005 and is the first solar powered school in the district.
