The Sequoia Park Zoo is a zoo located in Eureka, California, United States and is operated by the City of Eureka. With over 250 animals representing 75 different species on 7-acre, the zoo is a favorite of local residents, especially children, and visitors alike. Murray Field

Murray Field is a county-owned public-use airport in Humboldt County, California, United States. It is three nautical miles (6 km) east of the central business district of Eureka. The airport is primarily used for general aviation. Also FedEx Express utilizes the small airport as a stop for package delivery from and to Humboldt County. Murray Field was first established in 1919 by pilot Dayton Murray, and was later renamed in his honor.

Eureka High School or EHS, formerly Eureka Senior High School, is a public high school in Eureka, California. EHS is the only regular public high school serving the City of Eureka and all of its contiguous unincorporated neighborhoods, several adjacent unincorporated communities, and related independent elementary school districts, which, altogether, comprise the Eureka Unified High School District. Administrated as part of Eureka City Schools, it is the largest high school in Humboldt County.
