Rancho Las Flores
Rancho Las Flores was a 13,316-acre Mexican land grant in present day Tehama County, California given in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to William Chard. The name means "ranch of the flowers". The grant was on west side of the Sacramento River and was bounded by Rancho Barranca Colorado and Coyote Creek on the north and by Rancho Saucos and Elder Creek on the south, and encompassed present day Gerber and Proberta.

Dye Creek
Dye Creek is an 18.2-mile-long watercourse in Tehama County, California, USA, that is tributary to the Sacramento River. Dye Creek's watershed is situated in north-central California. The Dye Creek watershed contains rugged terrain areas of oak-studded forest, and also provides habitat for numerous understory flora and fauna. An example forb found in the watershed is the poppy Calochortus luteus, which is at its northern limit around the Dye Creek watershed.

Rancho Barranca Colorado
Rancho Barranca Colorado was a 17,707-acre Mexican land grant in present day Tehama County, California given in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to Josiah Belden. The name means "Ranch of the Red Bluffs". The grant was on the west bank of the Sacramento River and bounded Red Bank Creek on the north, and Coyote Creek and Rancho Las Flores on the south. The grant was about 2 miles south of present day Red Bluff.
