Ohio Pass (el. 10,074 ft. ) is a high mountain pass in Colorado, located one mile southeast of Kebler Pass. The Colorado Department of Transportation refers to the traversing road as Gunnison County Road (GCR) 730. Bing Maps incorrectly indicates that the traversing road is GCR 12.

Kebler Pass

Kebler Pass (el. 10,007 ft. ) is a high mountain pass in Colorado. The Colorado Department of Transportation refers to the traversing road as Gunnison County Road (GCR) 12. The eastern terminus of GCR 12 is Crested Butte. At its western terminus, GCR 12 intersects Colorado State Highway 133 near the southern end of Paonia State Park. It is a mostly gravel road and is closed during the winter months. A few portions of the road near the top of the pass have been paved.

Gunnison County, Colorado

Gunnison County is the fifth most extensive of the 64 counties of the state of Colorado in the United States. The county population was 15,324 at the 2010 census. The county was named for John W. Gunnison, a United States Army officer and captain in the Army Topographical Engineers, who surveyed for the transcontinental railroad in 1853. The county seat is the city of Gunnison. Daniel I.J. Thornton, the Republican governor of Colorado from 1951 to 1955, operated a ranch in Gunnison County.

Crested Butte

Crested Butte is a mountain peak butte of the Elk Mountains in the U.S. State of Colorado. It is also a town with a population of about 2000 people. The greater area includes Crested Butte, Mt. Crested Butte, Riverland, Riverbend, and Crested Butte South. The town of Crested Butte and its surrounding mountains are well known as an outdoor recreational hub of central mountains of Colorado. A major ski resort occupies the north and western slopes of the mountain.

KBUT (90.3 FM), is a National Public Radio-affiliated station in Crested Butte, Colorado. It features a eclectic mix of locally produced music shows (46 each week).
