Naropa University

Naropa University is a private liberal arts college in Boulder, Colorado. Founded in 1974 by Tibetan Buddhist teacher and Oxford University scholar Chögyam Trungpa, it is named for the eleventh-century Indian Buddhist sage Naropa, an abbot of Nalanda. Naropa describes itself as Buddhist-inspired, ecumenical and nonsectarian rather than Buddhist. Naropa promotes non-traditional activities like meditation to supplement traditional learning approaches.

Andrews Arboretum

Andrews Arboretum is a small arboretum located on the east side of Broadway between Grandview and Marine Streets in Boulder, Colorado, USA. It is open every day free of charge. The arboretum was established in 1948 by Miss Maud Reed, a former botany teacher at Boulder High School. At her request, the aboretum was named after Darwin M. Andrews, a horticulturist from Boulder.

Folsom Field

Folsom Field is an outdoor football stadium on the campus of the University of Colorado, at Boulder, Colorado. Opened in 1924, it is the home field of the Colorado Buffaloes of the Pacific-12 Conference; until July 2011, Colorado was a member of the Big 12 Conference. The horseshoe-shaped stadium runs in the traditional north-south configuration, opening to the north. The CU athletic administration center, named after 1950s head coach Dal Ward, is located at the north end.

Pearl Street Mall

The Pearl Street Mall (also referred to as Pearl Street, Downtown Boulder or just simply Downtown) is a four block pedestrian mall in Boulder, Colorado. The pedestrian area stretches from the 1100 to the 1400 blocks of Pearl Street (inclusive) and is home to a number of locally-owned and operated businesses and restaurants as well as the Boulder County Courthouse.
