Coronado High School (Colorado Springs, Colorado)

Coronado High School (CHS) is the fourth-oldest high school in District 11 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, named for Francisco Vásquez de Coronado. CHS currently has a student body of 1,515. Coronado High School is located high on Mesa Road and Fillmore Street, on a mesa overlooking Colorado Springs, with a view of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods. The school's colors are scarlet red and new gold, and the mascot is the Cougar.

Cave of the Winds (Colorado)

Flying W Ranch

The Flying W Ranch was a working mountain cattle ranch, and since 1953 a tourism venue in the foothills of Colorado Springs, Colorado. From May to October, the ranch featured outdoor chuckwagon suppers typical of those served on cattle drives, and western style living history areas. Beginning the first weekend in October, meals and entertainment moved indoors to the Winter Steakhouse, through the third weekend in December and again from early March through mid May.

Manitou Springs, Colorado

The city of Manitou Springs is a Home Rule Municipality located in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. The population was 4,992 at the 2010 census. Students are served by Manitou Springs School District 14 and Manitou Springs High School. The main road through the center of town was one of the direct paths to the base of Pikes Peak. Barr Trail, which winds its way up Pikes Peak, is easily accessible from town.
