KDUR

KDUR 91.9 FM is a college and community radio station owned by Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, United States. The station, which serves the Four Corners region of southwest Colorado, operated as 205-watt facility since going on the air in the early 1980s. On May 11, 2010, KDUR received its license from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to increase its power to 6,000 watts.

La Plata County, Colorado

La Plata County is the fifteenth most populous of the 64 counties of the State of Colorado of the United States. The county was named for the La Plata River and the La Plata Mountains. "La plata" is the Spanish language word for "silver". As of the 2010 census that the county population was 51,334, a 16.8% increase since 2000 census. The county seat is Durango.
