Grant is an unincorporated town and a U.S. Post Office in Park County, Colorado, United States. The community is located in foothills of the Front Range in the Platte Canyon, in the upper valley of the North Fork South Platte River, approximately 6 miles (10 km) east of Kenosha Pass. It sits along U.S. Highway 285 approximately 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Denver.

Kenosha Pass

Kenosha Pass, elevation 10,000 ft, is a high mountain pass located in the Rocky Mountains of central Colorado in the United States. The pass is located in the Rocky Mountains southwest of Denver, Colorado, just northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. Geologically, the pass is located atop a large granite batholith (known as the Kenosha Batholith) that forms the spine of the Front Range along the eastern side of South Park.

Shawnee, Colorado

Shawnee is an unincorporated town and a U.S. Post Office located in northern Park County, Colorado, United States. Shawnee is situated in the Platte Canyon, along the North Fork South Platte River, west of Bailey on U.S. Highway 285. It consists largely of a general store and post office, and well as surrounding houses, on the hillside south of the highway overlooking the river valley. In 1886, James W. Meyer–Womble Observatory

Meyer–Womble Observatory (MWO) is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the University of Denver. It is located near the summit of Mount Evans in the Arapaho National Forest approximately 60 kilometers west of Denver, Colorado (USA). At an elevation of 4,326 meters, it is the third highest optical/infrared observatory in the world, and was the highest until the Indian Astronomical Observatory opened in 2001.

Jefferson is an unincorporated town and a U.S. Post Office in Park County, Colorado, United States.
