Madison (Shore Line East station)
Madison is a passenger rail station along the Shore Line East commuter rail line, which runs on the Northeast Corridor between New Haven and New London. Maidson station consists of a mid-sized parking lot and one high-level side platform on the southbound side of the tracks. A second platform and three-story parking garage are planned for the future. The garage will allow the station, which is less than half a mile from I-95 and US-1, to serve as a park-and-ride station.

Hammonasset Beach State Park is a state park located in Madison, a town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. It is Connecticut's largest shoreline park, with over two miles of beach. Activities include bicycling, boating, fishing, hiking, picnicking and swimming. The park has over 550 campsites available. The Meigs Point Nature Center offers environmental education programs and activities for park visitors on a limited year round basis.

Griswold Airport
Griswold Airport was a public airport located three miles (5 km) east of the central business district of Madison, a town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. It was privately owned by Griswold Airport, Inc. The airport has been closed since the beginning of 2007. According to the Hartford Courant, the owner sold the property to make way for a proposed 127-unit development for people 55 and older.
