Daniel Hand High School
Daniel Hand High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school in Madison, Connecticut, serving grades 9 - 12, with an enrollment of approximately 1,276 students. The football team, who play their games at the Surf Club's Strong Field, have won 11 state championships having last won the Class L CIAC Championship at Rentschler Field over Windsor in 2012. Camp Laurelwood
Camp Laurelwood has been serving the New Haven and surrounding Jewish communities since 1937. The camp is located in northern Madison, Connecticut, in the United States. Serving up to 400 children in two sessions (4 weeks for the first session and 3 weeks for the second session), Laurelwood features activities like boating, archery, tennis and soccer in a Jewish cultural environment. The kosher kitchen is the center of camping activity serving kosher food to campers at the overnight camp.

Comfort Starr House
The Comfort Starr House, located at 138 State St. , Guilford, Connecticut, is a classic saltbox house with an added leanto. It is presumed that the original house was built between 1645 and 1646. The house derives its name from Comfort Starr who bought the house from the original builder, a Guilford signer (settler), Henry Kingsnorth, in 1694.
