Oyster River (Connecticut)
The Oyster River is a 4.1-mile-long stream located in the state of Connecticut in New Haven County. It flows south through Orange and forms the boundary of West Haven and Orange and further downstream the boundary of West Haven and Milford. Milford (Metro-North station)
The Milford Metro-North Railroad station serves the residents of Milford, Connecticut via the New Haven Line. It is 63.2 miles from Grand Central Terminal and the average travel time from Grand Central is one hour, 32 minutes. The station actually consists of two separate stations on either side of the tracks, typical of such small railroad stations. The station has 676 parking spaces, 444 of which are owned by the state.

Charles Island is a 14 acre (57,000 m²) island located roughly 0.5 mile (1 km) off the coast of Milford, Connecticut, in Long Island Sound centered at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|11|28.32|N|73|03|18|W|type:landmark_region:US | |name=Charles Island }}. Charles Island is accessible from shore via a tombolo (locally referred to as a sandbar), which is exposed at low tide. According to early local histories, the Sachem Ansantawae resided there during the summer months.
