Plainfield High School (Connecticut)

Plainfield High School is located in Central Village, Connecticut. Its mascot is Pesty the Panther, making them the Plainfield Panthers. Their school colors are black and orange. The current Plainfield High School building was finished in 2005, at a total cost of $88.3 million dollars. A small building from the old school was retained, out of respect for its historic importance. This little building is nicknamed "The Annex.

Mill Ridge Manor

The Millridge Manor is a historic 22-room mansion located at Moosup, Connecticut that has recently been renovated and restored to its former 1920s appearance. The mansion was built in 1880 for textile mogul and financier Floyd Cranska and rebuilt and remodeled to a French Chateau by his son Lucius B. Cranska in 1927. The Millrige Manor is now operated as an eloquent Wedding and event venue. Hosting many events in the historic gardens.

Moosup Valley State Park Trail

The Moosup Valley State Park Trail is a rail trail in Windham County, Connecticut. The trail is located on the railbed of a former New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad line. The rail line was abandoned in the late 1960s, and was designated by the state as a multi-use trail in 1987. The trail is owned and operated by the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection.
