Bishopville, Maryland
Bishopville is a small unincorporated community 10 miles (16 km) north of Berlin in Worcester County, Maryland, located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|26|35|N|75|11|38|W| | |name= }}. The community is just south of the Delaware state line. Bishopville arose at the site of a mill on and crossing of the Bishopville Prong of the St. Martin's River. The crossing, the main road through the community, is now Maryland Route 367.

Selbyville was originally known as Sandy Branch due to its location on a branch of that name emanating in the Cypress Swamp at the head of the St. Martin's River.
