Madison County Courthouse (Florida)

The Madison County Courthouse, built in 1913, is an historic courthouse building located in Madison, Florida. It is Madison County's fourth courthouse and the third built in Madison. The first log building at San Pedro was abandoned along with the town. The second courthouse built in 1840 in Madison burned in 1876 and was replaced by an 1880 brick structure which burned in 1912.

Four Freedoms Monument

The Four Freedoms Monument was commissioned by President Franklin D. Roosevelt following his articulation of the "Four Freedoms" in his 1941 State of the Union Address. This was yet before the participation of the US in World War II. Roosevelt felt that, through the medium of the arts, a far greater number of people could be inspired to appreciate the concept of the Four Freedoms.

Madison (Amtrak station)

The Madison Amtrak station is a train station in Madison, Florida, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Service has been suspended since Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast in 2005. Madison station's unique feature is that its waiting area consists of gazebos.

North Florida Community College

North Florida Community College is a public community college in Madison, Florida, and part of the Florida College System. It enrolls around 1,200 students and serves six rural counties in North Florida: Madison, Hamilton, Lafayette, Jefferson, Suwannee, and Taylor. The school was founded as North Florida Junior College in 1957, with classes beginning the following year. It merged with the historically black Suwannee River Junior College in 1966. The current name was adopted in 1995.
