William Marion Raines Senior High School is a historically black high school in Jacksonville, Florida. The school is located off Moncrief Road in Jacksonville, Florida's northside. Located at the corner Raines Avenue in northwest Jacksonville, Raines serves approximately 1000 students. The school is 97 percent African-American, 1 percent Hispanic, 1 percent Mixed & 1 percent Caucasian. Trout River (Florida)

The Trout River is a 20-mile-long tributary of the St. Johns River in Duval County, Florida. Located entirely within Jacksonville, the river is brackish in its lower section. The widest point of the river is near the St. Johns River, where it is 0.6 miles across. The Trout River has wetlands as far as the mouth of the river's longest tributary, the Ribault River.

Grand Crossing, Florida is a railway junction located in Florida. The site was so named in 1899 when two railroads crossed the Waycross-Jacksonville line of the Savannah, Florida & Western at almost the same location near Jacksonville, Florida. One was the Atlantic, Valdosta & Western and the other the Jacksonville & Southwestern Railroad. The AV&W extended from Valdosta, Georgia, to a terminal on East Bay Street in downtown Jacksonville.
