Wakulla Beach, Florida

Wakulla Beach is an unincorporated community in Wakulla County, Florida, United States. It is located on the northern shore of Goose Creek Bay, near the Gulf of Mexico. This was a platted town that was supposed to bring tourists and visitors to northern Florida. Only a couple of houses remain. A hotel ruin is also visible, dating to the 1920s. There is no beach per se, a very shallow bay. No amenities at this spot in the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, at the end of a very long dirt road.

Port Leon, Florida

Port Leon, Florida was a river port town located in what is now Wakulla County, Florida, which existed for only about six years in the first half of the 19th century. Port Leon is classified as an "extinct city" by the State Library and Archives of Florida and only remnants can be found today. San Marcos de Apalache Historic State Park

San Marcos de Apalache Historic State Park is a Florida State Park (Fort St. Marks to the English and Americans) and historic site located in Wakulla County, Florida. It is located in St. Marks, off S.R. 363. The address is 148 Old Fort Road.
