Arbor Place Mall

Arbor Place Mall, the only regional mall directly serving the growing western suburbs of Atlanta, is located in Douglasville, Georgia, in Douglas County. Opened in October 1999, the mall was originally to be anchored by Dillard's, Parisian, Sears, and Upton's. The Upton's chain folded prior to the opening of the mall, but the contract to build the store was still completed, resulting in a vacant anchor when the mall opened.

Douglasville is located approximately 20 miles west of Atlanta, Georgia and is included in the Atlanta Metro Area. Highway access can be obtained via five interchanges along Interstate 20.

WDCY is a radio station broadcasting a gospel music format. Licensed to Douglasville, Georgia, USA, it serves the Atlanta metro area. The station is currently owned by Word Christian Broadcasting Inc. The station has been issued a construction permit by the FCC to increase power to 50,000 Watts during the daytime with a directional antenna pattern (aimed towards the city of Atlanta) from a new transmitter location. It would not be on the air at night.
