Noonday, Georgia

Noonday (spelled Noon Day on 1860s maps) was an unincorporated community located in far north-central Cobb County, Georgia. It was centered at 34°03'43"N, 84°31'16"W (34.0620437, -84.5213204), along former Georgia highway 5, around the Noonday Baptist Church. This Baptist church is still active today. Little Noonday Creek runs just south of there, into Noonday Creek just to the west. The community of Blackwells was not far south of Noonday.

Noonday Creek is a 20.2-mile-long stream in Cobb and Cherokee counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. The stream begins near Kennesaw Mountain and ends at Lake Allatoona.

Six Flags White Water

Six Flags White Water is a 69-acre water park located northwest of Atlanta, in unincorporated Cobb County. Originally opening in 1984 as White Water Atlanta, the park became part of the Six Flags family of parks in 1999.
