Burke-Canyon
Burke-Canyon is the canyon of the Burke-Canyon Creek, in the northernmost part of Shoshone County, Idaho. There are several ghost towns and/or remnants of former communities along the Burke-Canyon Road, which runs through the canyon. From Wallace, a community humorously notorious as the "Center of the Universe", Burke-Canyon Road runs north and eastward toward the Montana border through Woodland Park, Webb, Gem, Frisco, Black Bear, Burke, and Mace.

Mullan, Idaho
Mullan is a city in Shoshone County in the northern part of the U.S. state of Idaho. The population was 692 at the 2010 census, down from 840 in 2000. The city is in the east end of the Silver Valley mining district; located in a sheltered canyon of the Coeur d'Alene Mountains at an elevation of 3,278 feet above sea level. The entrance to the Lucky Friday mine is several hundred yards east of the city center; the active mine descends more than 6,000 feet below the surface.
