Black Canyon Diversion Dam

Black Canyon Diversion Dam (National ID # ID00282) is a dam in Gem County, Idaho. The earthen dam was originally completed in 1924, then re-constructed between 1951 and 1955, by the United States Bureau of Reclamation. Its structure has a height of 183 feet, and a length of 1902 feet at its crest.

KKOO

KKOO (99.5 FM, "Kool Oldies 99.5") is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Fruitland, Idaho. The station, which began broadcasting in 1984 as KWEI-FM, is currently owned by the Treasure Valley Broadcasting Company. The station broadcasts an oldies music format to the greater Boise, Idaho, area. KKOO programming is derived in part from Dial Global Local's syndicated Good Time Oldies format.

Sweet, Idaho

Sweet is an unincorporated community in Gem County, Idaho, United States. It is located in open countryside approximately 16 miles (26 km) northeast of Emmett, along a county highway 8 miles due north of its intersection with State Highway 52. Founded in 1885 by Ezekiel Sweet, the community initially was a supply location and post office for farmers and ranchers in the nearby Lower Squaw Creek Valley.
