Blackfoot River (Idaho)

The Blackfoot River is a tributary of the Snake River in the U.S. state of Idaho. Formed by the confluence of Diamond Creek and Lanes Creek, it flows 136 miles to its mouth at the Snake River. The river is part of the Columbia River Basin. The Blackfoot River's drainage basin is approximately 1,097 square miles in area.

Fort Hall

Fort Hall was established by Nathaniel Jarvis Wyeth, an inventor and businessman from Boston, Massachusetts, as a trading post on the Snake River in the eastern Oregon Country, part of southeastern Idaho in the present-day United States. He also established a post at Fort William, in present-day Portland, Oregon, as part of a plan for a new trading and fisheries company.

Fort Hall, Idaho

Fort Hall is a census-designated place (CDP) in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Idaho, split between northern Bannock County and southern Bingham County. It is located on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation along the Snake River north of Pocatello, near the site of the original Fort Hall in the Oregon Country. The population was 3,201 at the 2010 census.
