Prairie Capital Convention Center
The Prairie Capital Convention Center (PCCC, PC3, or The Center) is a 7,700-seat multi-purpose arena in Springfield, Illinois. It was built in 1978 and is governed by the Springfield Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority (SMEAA). The arena hosts local concerts and sporting events for the area, and is the former home of the Springfield Stallions indoor football team.

Old State Capitol State Historic Site (Illinois)
The Old State Capitol State Historic Site, in Springfield, Illinois, is the fifth capitol building built for the U.S. state of Illinois. It was built in the Greek Revival style in 1837–40, and served as the state house in 1840–1876. It is the site of candidacy announcements by Abraham Lincoln in 1858 and Barack Obama in 2007.

The Springfield Amtrak station, a brick railroad depot built in 1895, serves Springfield, Illinois, the state capital. It is at mile 185 on Amtrak's Illinois and Missouri Route. As of 2007, it is served by five trains daily each way: the daily Texas Eagle, and four daily Lincoln Service schedules. The station was originally constructed by the Chicago and Alton Railroad, and was served by a successor company, the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad, until the start up of Amtrak on May 1, 1971.

Supreme Court of Illinois
The Supreme Court of Illinois is the state supreme court of the state of Illinois. The court's authority is granted in Article VI of the current Illinois Constitution, which provides for seven justices elected from the five appellate judicial districts of the state: Three justices from the First District and one from each of the other four districts. Each justice is elected for a term of ten years and the chief justice is elected by the court from its members for a three-year term.
