Fans Field (Decatur)
Fans Field was in Decatur, IL, and was home of the Decatur Commodores, of the Three-I League originally, and later of the Midwest League. It was at East Garfield and North Woodford Streets. It was one of the last of the wooden ballparks, a true throwback to its origin in the early 1920s. After the end of minor league ball in the city, those wooden stands were removed and the site was remade into a softball venue, retaining the name Fans Field. The old fence still stands past the new fence.

St. Teresa High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Decatur, Illinois. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. St. Teresa was established in 1866 as Academy of St. Teresa by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. The Ursuline Sisters took over in 1868 and operated the school until 1996.
