Yellowhead Township is one of seventeen townships in Kankakee County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,567. Yellowhead Township derives its name from the Potawatomi warrior, Yellow Head, whose village was located at what is now Yellowhead Point.

Grant Park, Illinois

Grant Park is a village in Kankakee County, Illinois, United States. Grant Park was incorporated in 1883. http://www. grantparkchamber. org/index. htm. In 2000, Grant Park, IL had a population of 1,358, and in 2009, a population of 1,701. It is part of the Kankakee–Bradley Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Chicago–Naperville–Michigan City, IL-IN-WI Combined Statistical Area. Much of the town was destroyed by a cyclone in 1912, according to Frank Leslie's Weekly magazine, which ran pictures.
