William and Florence Schmidt Art Center

The William and Florence Schmidt Art Center is a 6,500-square-foot art museum located on the Belleville Campus of Southwestern Illinois College, which houses a collection of approximately 400 pieces. In addition to paintings, photography, and pre-Columbian artifacts, the collection includes several outdoor sculptures, many of which were acquired with funds from Illinois Art in Architecture, a program devoted to promoting art in public buildings.

Shiloh–Scott (St. Louis MetroLink)

Shiloh-Scott is a St. Louis MetroLink station located adjacent to Scott Air Force Base in Shiloh, IL and is the eastern terminus of the MetroLink system. It opened on June 23, 2003 as part of Phase 2 of the St. Clair County Extension which extended MetroLink 3.5 miles from College to Shiloh-Scott station. The station is divided into two sections: one side is open to the general public and the other side to those with Scott Air Force Base security clearances.
