Tippecanoe River

The Tippecanoe River is a gentle, 182-mile-long river in northern Indiana that flows from Big Lake in Noble County to the Wabash River near Battle Ground, about 12 miles northeast of Lafayette. The name "Tippecanoe" comes from a Miami-Illinois word for buffalo fish, reconstructed as */kiteepihkwana/. The Tippecanoe River is fed by 88 natural lakes and has a drainage area of 1,250,000 acres, spanning 14 counties.

East Tipp Middle School

East Tipp Middle School is located in Lafayette, Indiana off of 300 N. Grades 6, 7, and 8 flow in from Hershey Elementary School before moving up to William Henry Harrison High School (West Lafayette, Indiana). It was constructed in 1958, and during many of its 50 years of service to Eastern Tippecanoe County, it has been awarded the "four star school" award numerous times by the Indiana Department of Education.

Wolf Park

Wolf Park is a nonprofit education and research facility which was established in 1972 by Dr. Erich Klinghammer. Along with research and seminars on wolf behavior, particularly reproductive and inter-pack social behavior, Wolf Park provides interpretive programs to school groups throughout the year by prearrangement. They are also open to the general public from May through November and Saturday evening for Howl Nights.
