Milton-Madison Bridge

The Milton-Madison Bridge (also known as the Harrison Street Bridge) is a continuous truss bridge that connects Milton, Kentucky and Madison, Indiana. It carries approximately 10,000 cars a day. A contract has been signed to replace the bridge by 2012. Construction is currently underway, with the new structure expected to be completed in 2013.

Madison is a city in and the county seat of Jefferson County, Indiana, United States, along the Ohio River. The population was 11,967 at the 2010 census. In 2006, the majority of Madison's downtown area was designated the largest contiguous National Historic Landmark in the United States—133 blocks of the downtown area is known as the Madison Historic Landmark District.
