KWLO

KWLO (1330 AM, "1330 ESPN") is a radio station serving the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metropolitan area with a sports talk format carrying the lineup from ESPN Radio. It broadcasts on AM frequency 1330 kHz and is under ownership of Woodward Communications, Inc. KWLO is also the flagship station of the University of Northern Iowa Sports Network's women's basketball games and volleyball games.

KXGM (AM)

KXGM is a silent radio station that served the Waterloo, Iowa, area. The not-for-profit station broadcast a simulcast of KXGM-FM's Christian Contemporary music format during daytime hours only. KXGM was owned by Extreme Grace Media. The station's antenna system uses three towers arranged in a directional array that concentrates the signal toward the northwest. According to the Antenna Structure Registration database, each of the towers is 88.4 m tall.

Black Hawk County, Iowa

Black Hawk County is a county located in the northeastern part of U.S. state of Iowa. The population was 131,090 in the 2010 census, an increase from 128,012 in 2000. Black Hawk County has the fourth largest population for counties in the state. The majority of the county's population resides in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls urbanized area. Waterloo, the county seat, is located approximately 65 miles east of I-35 at the intersection of U.S. Highways 20, 63 and 218.
