KGRS is a commercial radio station that serves the Burlington, Iowa area. The station broadcasts an Adult Contemporary format. KGRS is licensed to Titan Broadcasting, LLC which is owned by John C. "LJ" Pritchard. Titan Broadcasting LLC agreed to purchase the station from GAP West (owned by Skip Weller) in late 2007. The station was owned by Clear Channel prior to GAP West. KBUR is a radio station licensed to serve the community of Burlington, Iowa. The station primarily broadcasts a talk radio format. KBUR is owned by Pritchard Broadcasting Corporation and licensed to GAP Broadcasting Burlington License, LLC. It was first licensed on September 11, 1941. Pritchard Broadcasting Corporation (owned by John T. Pritchard) agreed to purchase the station from GAP West (owned by Skip Weller) in late 2007. The station was owned by Clear Channel prior to GAP West.

Community Field

Community Field is a stadium in Burlington, Iowa. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Burlington Bees minor league baseball team, and is occasionally used by the local high school baseball team. Community Field was originally built in 1947 upon the establishment of the Burlington Indians. The grandstand burned down on June 9, 1971, and was rebuilt for the start of the 1973 season by an all-volunteer crew. The current stadium holds 3,200 people.

Southeastern Community College is a community college with three campuses located in Burlington, Ft. Madison, and Keokuk, Iowa. Burlington serves as the main campus. Southeastern Community College was formed in 1967 with the merging of two local colleges: Burlington Junior College, founded in 1920, and Keokuk Community College, founded in 1953. Southeastern is a member of Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
