Combat Air Museum

The Combat Air Museum is a museum in Williamsport Township, Shawnee County, near Topeka, Kansas at Forbes Field airport. The Museum rents two hangars from the MTAA. It is one of a handful of major aviation museums in the United States located on an active air field. Forbes Field is a joint civil-military public airport located six miles (10 km) south of the central business district of Topeka, a city in Shawnee County, Kansas. Forbes Field is owned by the Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority.

Pauline, Kansas

Pauline is an unincorporated town in Shawnee County, Kansas, United States. Located south of Topeka, it lies next to Forbes Field. Although it began as a small town in its own right, Pauline now is occasionally seen as part of the South City Industry Park for Topeka, Kansas with its many large businesses. Pauline is located on southwest Topeka Boulevard, just a few miles from Heartland Park Race Track. The population, excluding the Montara subdivision, is between 100 and 230 people.

Heartland Park Topeka

Heartland Park Topeka is a multi-purpose motorsports facility located 5 miles south of Topeka, Kansas. When it opened in 1989, it was the first brand-new auto racing facility to be built in the United States for 20 years. Its facilities include a road-race course with 4 possible configurations (ranging from 1.8 miles to 2.5 miles in length), a ⅜ mile clay oval, off-road course and a ¼ mile drag strip.
