Garden City (Amtrak station)

The Garden City Amtrak station is a train station in Garden City, Kansas, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It is located in downtown Garden City along the BNSF Railway La Junta Subdivision. Garden City Station was originally built in 1907 by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad and upon the restoration of 2002, was declared a historic landmark by the Finney County Preservation Alliance.

Lee Richardson Zoo

The Lee Richardson Zoo is an AZA accredited zoo in Garden City, Kansas. The zoo has more than 100 species of animals located on 47 acres inside Finnup Park and includes many animals that are non-native to southwest Kansas. Admission is free.

Garden City Community College (GCCC) is a fully accredited community college located in Garden City, Kansas, USA. GCCC has regional accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the GCCC Nursing Program is accredited by the Kansas State Board of Nursing and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). K39FW

K39FW was a television station in Garden City, Kansas. As a TBN owned-and-operated station, it was a repeater that broadcast programming from the Trinity Broadcasting Network, via satellite. The station broadcast its analog signal on UHF channel 39. K39FW left the air April 13, 2010. Its license, along with 43 other silent TBN repeaters, was canceled on December 1, 2011 for remaining silent over a year.
