Rosedale, Kansas
Rosedale, Kansas is a community of Kansas City, Kansas located in the southeast corner of Wyandotte County, Kansas. It is bordered on the north by the Kansas River and the Armourdale neighborhood, on the south by Johnson County, on the west by the Argentine neighborhood, and on the east by the state of Missouri. Highline Bridge (Kansas City, Kansas)
The Highline Bridge is an elevated railroad bridge over the Armourdale district of Kansas City, Kansas. It was built in 1917 and is owned and operated by the Kansas City Terminal Railway (KCTR) It crosses the Kansas River at the eastern part of the bridge, and has thru-truss spans over the Kansas River. The rest of the bridge is a deck truss, and is about one mile long, and goes a north to southeast in direction.

23rd Street viaduct
The 23rd Street viaduct is an automobile crossing of the Kansas River, and south of the Rock Island Bridge (Kansas City). It was built in 1921, and rebuilt in 2007. It is an elevated deck truss, and about 3,000 feet long. It survived the 1951, and 1993 Kansas City floods. It has two side approaches, one to the south, one to the north, and rises above the south part of the West Bottoms, and the parking lot to Kemper Arena.

Rock Island Bridge (Kansas City, Kansas)
The Rock Island Bridge in Kansas City, Kansas is a rail crossing of the Kansas River. It connects the Armourdale, Kansas to West Bottoms. It is a truss bridge that is closed to traffic. It was built in 1905. It has two main spans and a smaller one on the east side. It also has a screw-jack lifting system to allow the bridge to be lifted during floods.
