Silver Creek High School (Sellersburg, Indiana)

Silver Creek High School is located in Sellersburg, Indiana. It is part of the West Clark Community Schools. The school colors are orange and blue, and the school mascot is the Dragons. Silver Creek's athletic teams are part of the 10-school Mid-Southern Conference. Silver Creek High has produced two Division 1 basketball players, Steven (Steve) Michael Green and Matthew (Matt) Renn. Green went on to play at Indiana University. Elmer Davis Lake

Elmer Davis Lake is a 149-acre reservoir in Owen County, Kentucky. It was created in 1958 by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, and was named for a former commissioner of that department.

Owen County, Kentucky

Owen County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. According to the 2010 Census, the population was 10,841. Its county seat is Owenton. The county is named for Colonel Abraham Owen. It is a prohibition or dry county, with the exception of a winery (Elk Creek Vineyards) that is authorized to sell its product to the public.

Owenton, Kentucky

Owenton is a city in Owen County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 1,327 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Owen County. It is located at the junction of US 127 and Kentucky Route 22, about halfway between Louisville and Cincinnati. Owenton was founded in 1822 and named for the county, which was named for colonel Abraham Owen, a pioneer who died at the Battle of Tippecanoe. The town incorporated on December 18, 1828. The Greek Revival courthouse was built in 1857-58.
