Silver Creek High School is located in Sellersburg, Indiana. It is part of the West Clark Community Schools. The school colors are orange and blue, and the school mascot is the Dragons. Silver Creek's athletic teams are part of the 10-school Mid-Southern Conference. Silver Creek High has produced two Division 1 basketball players, Steven (Steve) Michael Green and Matthew (Matt) Renn. Green went on to play at Indiana University. Green also played professional basketball for the Indiana Pacers.

Stamping Ground is a city in Scott County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 566 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Lexington–Fayette Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was named for the activity of herds of bison in the area. The town was established in 1817 and named Herndonsville for the local Herndon family. In 1834 the name was changed to Stamping Ground. A Stamping Ground post office operated for a short time in 1816.

Distillery. Its namesake bourbon brand, Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey, was introduced in August 1999. The Buffalo Trace Distillery stands as the oldest (not necessarily continuously-operating) distilling site in the United States.
