The United States Penitentiary, McCreary (USP McCreary) is a high-security United States federal prison for male inmates in Kentucky. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice. The facility also has an adjacent minimum-security satellite camp for male offenders. USP McCreary is located approximately 88 miles north of Knoxville, Tennessee, 125 miles south of Lexington, Kentucky and 208 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio.

McCreary County Airport

McCreary County Airport is a public airport located in unincorporated McCreary County, Kentucky, USA, 3 miles three miles northeast of the central business district (CBD) of Pine Knot. It is a very small, publicly owned public-use general aviation airport. The airport lies adjacent to United States Penitentiary, McCreary and has one unattended hangar containing several ultralight aircraft. Its elevation is 1370 MSL and it has one well-maintained asphalt runway, 4/22.
