Houma-Terrebonne Airport is a former United States Navy airport located three miles (5 km) southeast of the central business district of Houma, a city in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, United States. Naval Air Station Houma was opened on May 1, 1943 as a station for Lighter-than-Air (LTA) airships. The base was disestablished in November 1947, dismantled, and developed into Houma Airport.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux

The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is a Roman Catholic diocese in southeastern Louisiana. It comprises Terrebonne and Lafourche Parishes, the eastern part of St. Mary Parish including Morgan City, and Grand Isle in Jefferson Parish. The diocese was created on June 5, 1977, and was previously part of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Although a small diocese in terms of area, it has a large Roman Catholic population, with approximately 126,000 Catholics. The current bishop is Most Rev. Sam G.
