Natchitoches is a city in and the parish seat of Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, United States. Established in 1714 by Louis Juchereau de St. Denis as part of French Louisiana, the community was named after the Natchitoches Indian tribe. The City of Natchitoches was first incorporated on February 5, 1819. It is the oldest permanent settlement in the Louisiana Purchase. Natchitoches's sister city is Nacogdoches, Texas.

H. Alvin Brown–C.C. Stroud Field is a baseball venue in Natchitoches, Louisiana, USA. It is home to the Northwestern State Demons baseball team of the NCAA Division I Southland Conference. Opened on April 1, 1939, the venue has a capacity of 1,200 spectators. It is named after the first two coaches of the Northwestern State baseball program– C.C. Stroud, who coached from 1912-1930, and H. Alvin Brown, who coached from 1949-1966.
