Mangham, Louisiana

Mangham is a village in Richland Parish in northeastern Louisiana, United States. The population was 595 at the 2000 census. Mangham was established in 1890. It is named for Wyley P. Mangham (died 1896), the publisher of the Richland Beacon-News, a weekly newspaper in Rayville, the seat of Richland Parish.

Rayville, Louisiana

Rayville is a town in, the parish seat of, and the largest community in Richland Parish in northeastern Louisiana, United States. The population, which is two thirds African American, was 4,234 at the 2000 census. It is also home of Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center City Hall in Rayville, located next to the U.S. Post Office across from U.S. Highway 80, is named for former Mayor Joe Kalil (1922–1996).
