Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSU Shreveport or LSUS) is a branch of the Louisiana State University System in Shreveport, Louisiana. Hamel's Amusement Park

Hamel's Amusement Park was one of the few amusement parks located in the state of Louisiana for more than 35 years. Located in Shreveport, it was relatively small and yet hugely popular. People from across the state would visit its giant Ferris wheel or its roller coaster. A log flume was also added later to round out the large ride attractions. During the early years it had a train ride that covered the back end of the property, where zebras, elephants, and other zoo animals roamed.

Gold Dome (Centenary)

Gold Dome is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Shreveport, Louisiana. It was built in 1970. It is home to the Centenary Gentlemen basketball team.

KSCL

KSCL 91.3-FM is the student-run College radio station broadcasting from the campus of Centenary College of Louisiana. The station broadcasts 24 hours a day to the cities of Shreveport, Bossier City, and other surrounding communities. KSCL was Shreveport's first public radio station. The station is located in the heart of Centenary's campus.
