Aroostook Valley Country Club

The Aroostook Valley Country Club is a golf course which straddles the border between the U.S. state of Maine and the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The club, located near Perth-Andover, New Brunswick and Fort Fairfield, Maine, has its course and clubhouse on the Canadian side of the border and its parking lot and pro shop on the American side.

Limestone, Maine

Limestone is a town in Aroostook County, Maine, United States. The population was 2,314 at the 2010 census. The town is best known for being the home of the Loring Commerce Centre (formerly Loring Air Force Base; also lying on its former territory is the Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge). The population center of the town is in Limestone (CDP), located in the east-central part of the town.

Maine School of Science and Mathematics

The Maine School of Science and Mathematics (MSSM) is a residential magnet high school in Limestone, Maine. MSSM serves students from all over the state of Maine, as well as youth from other states and international students. It is a high school for students in grades 9-12, and its summer program is for boys and girls from grades 5-9. The MSSM is a boarding school with a dormitory for up to 140 students.

Tinker Dam

The Tinker Dam is a hydroelectric dam built on the Aroostook River in the Canadian province of New Brunswick and operated jointly by WPS Energy and NB Power. Its power house has a capacity of 34 megawatts. The dam and power house are collectively known as the Tinker Generating Station. The dam is located in Aroostook Junction, New Brunswick, immediately downstream of Fort Fairfield, Maine, and less than 1 km east of the Canada–United States border.
