East Winthrop is a village in the town of Winthrop in Kennebec County, Maine, United States. It is located just west of Manchester and south of Readfield, borders most of Cobbosseecontee Lake, and all of Little Cobbosseecontee, Upper & Lower Narrows. It has a separate post office and ZIP code (04343) from the rest of Winthrop, although this serves only mail delivered to post office boxes in the East Winthrop Post Office. The area has magnificent views of the Cobbosseecontee bodies of water.

WABK-FM

WABK-FM is an FM radio station licensed to Gardiner, Maine and broadcasting at 104.3 MHz. WABK signed on with an adult leaning top 40 format in the fall of 1968 at 1280 on the AM dial. WABK-FM signed on during the summer of 1974 with the call letters WKME and featured Drake-Chenault's automated Hit Parade format. In February 1978, the original studios in Farmingdale were destroyed by fire.

Bank of Maine Ice Vault

Bank of Maine Ice Vault (formerly the Kennebec Ice Arena) is an indoor ice arena located in Hallowell, Maine. It is the home of the Maine Moose ice hockey team which plays in the Northern States Junior Hockey League, and the Skating Association of Maine. The original Kennebec Ice Arena, built in 1973, collapsed under the weight of snow on March 2, 2011. The Maine Moose played their first home game in the new arena against the New York Aviators on October 19, 2012.
