Pushaw Lake

Pushaw Lake is a lake in Penobscot County, Maine, United States about 6.5 miles north of downtown Bangor and 4.5 mi west of downtown Orono. The lake is part of the towns of Orono, Old Town, Hudson, and Glenburn. There are roads and private residences along much of the lake, except the southeastern side where the Caribou Bog complex borders the lake. A small dam was constructed in 1920 at the lake's outflow to maintain constant water levels.

Kenduskeag Stream

Kenduskeag Stream is a 36.2-mile-long stream in the U.S. state of Maine. It is a tributary of the Penobscot River. The stream rises at the outlet of Garland Pond in the town of Garland, and flows southeast through Corinth, Kenduskeag, and Glenburn, before entering the city of Bangor. Passing through downtown Bangor, the stream drops 100 feet in 2 miles, reaching the Penobscot between the two downtown bridges across the larger river.

WBZN

WBZN is a radio station licensed to Old Town, Maine and is found at the frequency 107.3 MHz. The station has been on the air since August 1996. Previous to its current Top 40 format, the station was "Greatest Hits of the 70s" classic hits station under ownership of Eclipse Broadcasting, started by Chuck Foster and Mike Elliott. During that period WBZN used the same Z107.3 on air slogan.

Bangor City Forest

The Bangor City Forest is a large recreation area in Bangor, Maine. The park consists of approximately 650 acres and features close to 10 miles of hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing trails. The trail system is well maintained and most trails are packed gravel. Although primarily a recreational area, it is technically a "working forest. " The park has a large parking and picnic area located at the end of Tripp Drive. Additional parking is available at the end of Kittredge Road.
