Monmouth Academy (Maine)

Monmouth Academy is a public high school in Monmouth, Maine. It was established as a private school in 1803, hence the word "academy" in its name. The only piece remaining from the original school is the pillared area on the left of what is now known as Monmouth Middle School. In 1989, Monmouth Academy moved across the street from the current Monmouth Middle School into a new, modernized building. Approximately 240 students are currently enrolled at Monmouth Academy.

WPFO

WPFO is a Fox-affiliated television station whose signal covers southern Maine and northern New Hampshire; it is licensed to Waterville, Maine. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 23 from a transmitter on Oak Hill in Litchfield near the Androscoggin-Kennebec county line. Owned by Corporate Media Consultants Group and operated by Max Media (which owns 49 percent of CMCG), the station has studios on Oxford Street in Downtown Portland.
