It is located at the end of Maine State Route 43 (Temple Road), and is said to be one of only two towns in Maine to be situated at the end of a public highway. WUMF

WUMF is the student run radio station of the University of Maine Farmington, located in Farmington, Maine broadcasting on 91.5 FM. Previous to occupying the 91.5 frequency WUMF was located on several frequencies including 91.9, 92.3, 100.5, and 100.1 (the station moved off 92.3 to make room for a WMME upgrade. The station reports music played to College Music Journal however popular music can be heard, as well as talk and sports programming.
