Bartlett Museum, Inc

The Bartlett Museum is a nonprofit museum located at 270 Main Street, Amesbury, Massachusetts. The museum was formed in 1968 as part of the celebrations for the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Town of Amesbury. The building was originally the Bartlett School from 1870 until it was closed in 1968. As of 2009 the museum's exhibits included: Local history - Amesbury's former carriage industry, old maps, and mementos of local history.

Amesbury High School

Amesbury High School is a coeducational preparatory school in the city of Amesbury, Massachusetts, drawing students from Amesbury, South Hampton, New Hampshire, and other parts of the Merrimack River Valley region. It is in the Amesbury Public Schools district, and serves grades 9 through 12. The school mascot is the Indian, the colors are red and white. The yearbook is called the Powwow. There are around 830 students, and almost 60 members of faculty and other staff.

Back River (Powwow River)

The Back River is a 6.5-mile-long river located in New Hampshire and Massachusetts in the United States. It is a tributary of the Powwow River, part of the Merrimack River watershed. Approximately 3.0 miles of the river are in New Hampshire, with the remaining 3.5 miles in Massachusetts. The Back River rises in Kensington, New Hampshire and flows southeast, almost immediately entering the town of South Hampton.
