Gates Intermediate School, known more commonly as Gates Intermediate School or "Gates" is the junior high school of the Scituate, Massachusetts public school system, serving seventh and eighth grade students. It is located on First Parish Rd. , within walking distance of Lawson Tower and Scituate High School. It is named from a former Scituate selectman and Grand Master Mason, Lester J. Gates. It used to be Scituate High School until the present-day Scituate High School was built.
