North Truro Train Station
The North Truro Train Station was located in North Truro, Massachusetts near the intersection of what is now Pond and Twinefield Roads. It was probably razed when the tracks were torn up between Eastham and Provincetown in the fall of 1960. North Truro or “Pond Village” first saw train service in 1873, when the Old Colony Railroad extended the tracks from Wellfleet to Provincetown, with a depot probably built the same year. The first train actually rumbled through town on July 23, 1873.

The Jenny Lind Tower is a stone tower located in North Truro, Massachusetts. It is named after Jenny Lind, who is rumored to have climbed the tower when it was located in Boston to prevent a riot among people who were unable to attend her concert.
