Wonderland Greyhound Park

Wonderland Greyhound Park was a greyhound racing track located in Revere, Massachusetts owned by the Westwood Group. It was constructed on the site of the former Wonderland Amusement Park. Wonderland opened on June 12, 1935 and formerly offered 361 performances during its 100-day, April to September racing period. As a result of a state-wide ban on dog racing which took effect on January 1, 2010, the track offered only simulcast wagering, but completely closed its doors on August 19, 2010.

Revere Beach (MBTA station)

Revere Beach Station of the MBTA, is a station on the Blue Line, serving the city of Revere, Massachusetts. It was built between 1952 and 1954 as part of the Blue Line extension to Wonderland, on the site of a former Boston, Revere Beach and Lynn Railroad station. True to its name, Revere Beach station is only a block from Revere Beach, a popular summer escape spot for Bostonians. Revere Beach Station is on the part of the Blue Line that uses overhead lines instead of third rail.

Wonderland (MBTA station)

Wonderland is a rapid transit station on MBTA's rapid transit Blue Line, located adjacent to Revere Beach in Revere, Massachusetts. It currently serves as the northern terminus of the line, as well as a major bus transfer station for the North Shore area. The station is fully handicapped accessible. The station plays a role in the 1998 film Next Stop Wonderland as the eponymous destination of the main characters.

Beachmont is an above-ground rapid-transit station located on the MBTA Blue Line. It serves the Beachmont neighborhood of Revere, Massachusetts. The station, located on an overpass above Winthrop Avenue, is one of a small number of elevated rapid transit stations remaining in the MBTA system.

Suffolk Downs

Suffolk Downs is a thoroughbred race track in East Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The track opened in 1935 after being built by Joseph A. Tomasello for a cost of $2 million. A number of famous horses have since raced at this track including Seabiscuit, Whirlaway, Funny Cide, and Cigar. The Massachusetts Handicap or MassCap is an annual event held at the track, but has not been held since 2008. The track is a 1-mile dirt oval with a seven-furlong inner turf track.
